Sure, butter’s fine but do you know what’s even better? Herbed butter
This stuff is amazing if you’re looking to impress. Slather your favorite crusty bread with it.
Works great with vegetables (mushrooms) and meat. It’s a beautiful thing with chicken.
Yields approx ¾ cup and is good for two months in the fridge
Don’t just stare at it. Make it.
INGREDIENTS
½ cup butter, softened
1 tbsp fresh basil, finely chopped
1 tbsp fresh parsley, finely chopped
½ tbsp fresh thyme, finely chopped
½ tbsp fresh rosemary, finely chopped
½ tbsp honey
pinch of salt
pinch of finely ground white pepper
EQUIPMENT
mixing bowl
wooden spoon
plastic wrap
Combine all the ingredients in your mixing bowl and mix well with the wooden spoon.
Gently roll the mixture into a log about the same length and width as a stick of butter. Roll tightly in plastic wrap and refrigerate until use.
